hospital Friday January 5 after a short illness Other survivors include a son Ben Denton of Tahlequah a stepdaughter Mrs Faye Wright Los Angeles Calif a brother Wood Seneca Missouri a sister Mrs Ethyle Blaycock St Louis Missouri nine grandchildren including Mrs Billy Ray Allison of Westville and nine great-grandchildren WCI CLUB HOLDS MEETING The regular meeting of the Westville Community were Mrs George Urich Mrs A Nickell Mrs Beit Sheppard Mrs Ward Webb and Mrs Ella Rogers 4r it FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN CALIFORNIA Howard Callison 55 Reedly Calif a former Westville resi dent who lived in the Chapel community south of town died December 28 in a sanitorium at Springfield Calif after a long illness Mr Callison left Westville 10 years ago moving to California following the death of his wife His daughter Ellen has made her home during that time with Mr and Mrs Lytton of Chapel community Mr Callison was a member of the Westville Masonic Lodge Burial was in the Exeter Calif cemetery Painter called on Joann Chadwell Sunday morning WATTS SCHOOL NEWS Morgan state assistant director of instruction made his annual visit to Watts school and in his accrediting report to the State Board of Education recommend bd that the school be accredited for 25 units in highschool He further stated that good work was being done by a staff of well-qualified teachers he added that Mr Cox was doing a fine job in coordinating the total program Student interest was good and a fine school was evident All properties were in good condition and being well maintained and that the community should be
