JEFFERSON DAVIS SCHOOL NEWS The bells of 6.000 Louses have welcomed back. Army of 600,000 school children. Of these there were about 50,000 who entered school for the first time About 1 7 ,000 teachers took up the work of preparing ths army for citizenship. Oklahomas biggest business has started another session- It is the biggest business from the standpoint of money invested, people employed and people af feeted. Upon the results to be obtained depends the future of Oklahoma.

We are very anxious that Jeff erson Davis school plays her part, and plays it well. Our patrons have shown a great interest during (our first school month, many of them out, the first morning of school with their children and several have visited our school during the month. We were also honored this month by a visit from the Eufanla Lions Club. This we appreciated very.much. "We are very thankful to the Lions also, for the beautiful moral code they have placed into the hands of our school children.

We have been fortunate for the last three years in having what we take pride in a live, active and wide Parent-Teachers' Club. This club has done a great work for our children. An extra nice library set of ten volums been purchased already this year for our ar very thankful to the Club for these good books, for we are quiet sure they will add to the efficiency of our school. The first meeting of the Jefferson Davis Parent-Teachers Club for the school year 1925-26 will be Monday afternoon October 5th at 2:30 All patrons are cordially invited. The main purpose of this meeting is to get acquainted, discuss plans for fht; year 1925-26.

Ma Up your plans to come and be a member of this club this year. You owe. it to your child to visit his institution at least a month. Come out and find out what his needs arc. We are very anxious that this will be our banner school year and- with your good it will be.
