Harold Stassen has a foreign policy based solidly on the successful Eisenhower methods along the middlt way.

Harold Stossen's principles in dealing with foreign nations would mean: Friendship to all peoples Firmness with all governments Forthrlghtness with our eitiiens The creed of the Stassen foreign policy would be Humanity First Under God. First, and foremost, as President, Harold Stassen would have America lead in modernizing, improving and reorganizing the powers and functions of the United Notions. 1: He would call for the establishment of a new United Nations General Council with weighted, realistic voting. He would call for a United Nations Board of Arbl- tration to settle border disputes and other international problems which threaten peace and hint of war. He would ask for a panel of United Nations mediators to help nations adjust their differences.

4: He would ask for a United Nations Inspector General for Arms Limitation to help bring the arms race under control. Harold Stassen wants to strengthen tht United Notions to help it more surely maintain world peace In the years ahead. Harold Stassen knows from experience, however, that the fatal mistakes that lead to war are made ten or more years before the first shots are fired. He would act now to prevent a future war. In Cuba, Harold Stassen believes it is wrong to try to make the people of Cuba go hungry.

He would open up trade of food and peaceful goods and work effectively for the future freedom of the Cuban people without war or Invasion. In Panama and in Viet Nom, Harold Stassen would move with the same cautious but firm actions that President Eisenhower used in ending the Korean war, and the crises in Syria, Lebanon and the Middle East, Suez, Guatemala, East Berlin. Harold Stassen would not take petty steps. He would hove America strong end alert. Leading America down the middle way to peace he would have Friendly to all peoples Firm to all governments Forthright to our citixens HAROLD STASSEN: UNITED NATIONS.

One of three Republicans to help frame United Notions Charter. Voted by 30 preis reporters as the American who contributed mail to the conference. HAROLD STASSEN: EISENHOWER AIDE. Durinf both Eiienhower terms, he was special assistant to the President with cabinet rank and directed studies of the United States on world arms control. Harold Stassen man with experience TO BUILD FOR PEACE SO THAT WE'LL NEVER AGAIN HAVE TO FIGHT FOR PEACE! No man declaring for the presidency today has the total experience both foreign and domestic to be our next Chief Executive as does Harold Stassen.

Harold Stassen has been District Attorney, Governor (three times in a row), high ranking Naval Officer, Framer of the United Nations Charter voted by 30 press reporters there as the American who contributed most to the conference for peace as published in Newsweek. He is a Religious Leader, He was a University President, had Cabinet Rank during the Eisenhower Administration. These are high executive positions, every one of them. Harold Stassen has met and held up America's end with such powerful Communist leaders as Josef Stalin and Nikita Khrushchev. He has often been an official spokesman for the United States, and the free world.

Eisenhower called him his "Secretary For Peace" in the critical year 1955. At a young 56, Harold Stassen is wise in the ways of national and international affairs. He has been elected to high office many times. He was a foreign diplomat. He was an educator.

He is an economist. He was a military administrator. At a sage 56, with his wide knowledge, only Harold Stassen of all candidates could possibly put into effect his own plan based solidly on the Eisenhower principles and policy to secure the peace we all so dearly want. Look at the facts. Look at Harold Stassen.
