Waiter Knjawa of ForestriUe. K. fifteen grandchildren also survive. The funeral is to be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 with brief prayer services at the daughter's home Mrs. Walter Lipinczyk, 122 West Second street and at St, Hyacinth's Church at 9 o'clock.

The' nauries of; 38 new members of the. organization were added to the President Henry K.

Leworthy Vice President W. W. Heppell and Robert R. Dew, secretary and treasurer, all were-named to succeed themselves as the hospital board met following the appointment of directors. Previously four of the 16 of the hospital board.had been re-elected to three year terms.

They were Murle L. Rowe, E. A. Nowak, H. C.

Madden and George E. Guay. In the Second and Fourth wards they, also surpassed the corresponding totals for 193n while the other two wards were slightly below. 1936. The registration this year by wards shows the Second, a Republican stronghold, high 1,580 and the Third second high with 1,396. Today is the final day for citizens to become eligible for the November Polling places opened at 7 o'clock this morning and remain open until" 10 o'clock tonight.

Silver Creek, Oct. 19--W. Harold Bie of was reelected president of the Tri- County Golf club of Silver Creek at its annual dinner meeting held at the White Inn in Fredonia on Thursday evening. The other officers are: Dr. John S.

McFarland, Buffalo, vice president; Dr. E. G. Homokay, Silver Creek, second vice president; Allen J. Diefendorf, Silver Creek, secretary and treasurer.

BENJAMIN DIES IN BUFFALO TODAY Augustus James Benjamin, Dunkirk resident who recently has been employed in Buffalo, died 'early today at his residence, 114 Brayton street, in that city. Mr. Benjamin, who was a native of Rochester, would have been 53 years of age next week.

He spent practically his entire life in Dunkirk. He was a member of the Dunkirk Lakeside club. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ann Picker Benjamin, 315 Canary street; his mother, Mrs. Mary Moore.
