Hollnesa. The POWER of FAITH by Howard Brodia The Bible Story'," 10 volumes containing 409 stories by Arthur S. Maxwell, have been presented to Goodman Library by local professional people who wish to remain anonymous. Maxwell, known to millions as Uncle Arthur, was here Thursday to autograph the books presented for the donors by Merrill F. Abbott, representative of the Home Health Education Service.

Miss Irene Nakaji, children's librarian, received the gift on behalf of the library. Childrens Bible Considered a childrens Bible, the stories cover Genesis to Revelations, beautifully illustrated with reproductions of an art collection valued at more than $500,000 and painted by 14 artists from nine countries. Maxwell began plans for The Bible Story', which he considers his most important work to date, more than 10 years ago, and spent seven years in the actual writing of the volumes. Plaudits for the work has been received from such notables as Cecil B. DeMille, producer of the movie The Ten Commandments, who wrote Maxwell: If you have done nothing else with your life but make the Bible simple for children, you have not lived in ain.
