Matthew AUgaier Have Lived In Dunkirk Since Their Marriage 50 Yeart Ago. Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Allgaier cf 413 Dove street are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their marriage today. Friends, relatives and ieighbors have sent gifts and messages of congratulation, but Mrs.

Allgaier says, "We aren't going to lave a party. I've had enough of parties in other years." The bride of 50 years ago was Htnnfe Waterstredt, and was bore tn Germany. The wedding took place in Dunkirk, May 20. 1888. and was performed by Justice of he Peace James L.

Holstein. With he exception of a brief period, Mr. and Mrs. Allgaier have lived all heir married life ia Dunkirk. They resided in Howard avenue until moving to Dove street a year ago.

Mr. Allgaier. who was born in Dunkirk, worked for many years at the Brooks plant of the American Locomotive company as a machinist, and later with the Nickel Plate railroad. He retired seven vears ago. Mr.

and Mrs. Allgaier have one grandchild. Alberta Allgaier. They have lost four children, Lheir sons Arthur and Franklin having grown up here. Both are well and say they are looking forward to many more anniversaries.
