and Mrs. Ike Issacc Were the visitors at the home of Bartley Rushes of' Ewing Chapel. George Williams celebrated his 9th. birthday last Thursday night with a party. Everyone attending reported a nice time.

Refreshments were cake and grape Leola and Jackie Adair spent Saturday night with Rose Glassley. Miss Ruth Floyd spent the weekend with home folks. Woodrow Murrott was the visitor of Ona Essary Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs.

Jess Wright are visiting relatives here. Mrs. Wright was formerly Miss Ruth Estes. Mrs. Irene Alberty and sons, A.

J. and Laverne, were the visitors at the home of Mrs. Katherine Blakmore Sunday. Miss, Rose Glassley spent Thursday night with Iris and Opal Keene. Mr.

and Mrs. Golden Eagleton are visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Lou McCaleb, Mr.

and Mrs. R. H. Williams, Mrs. Earl Floyd and Mrs.

Julia Alberty were guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Williams Sunday. Addison Miller was the visitor of Roy and Ray Gore Sunday. We are glad to welcome these new pupils hi school: Hazel, Vera, Roy, Eula, Jtiiious Ellic Miles.

Roy was the visitor of W. D. Leaiherwood Saturday night. Ersie'! McCaleb, and Vera Floyd spent Sunday with Miss Roberta Williams. i Mr.

and Mrs. Patterson have moved near this place. We are proud to hove them as neighbors. Miss Violet Hilwick was the visitor of Miss Esther Keller last week. Miss Lillie Thurber, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Jim Thurber and Charlie Hamlin of Bunch were married the 31st of December at midnight We suppose they made new year's resolutions. Joe Matlock and Jim Mays were business visitors in Stilwell Monday. Mrs. Etta Owens and children, formerly of Bloomburg, Texas, have come here to reside. Mr. and Mrs. A.

H. Ray and children, motored to Proctor Sunday and visited with J. H. Ray and his sister, Mrs. Wiley Hodge of Muskogee, who was there.

Artie Shipman, returned to Tulsa Sunday, here she has been working for some time. There aws a porty at the Hornsby home Saturday night. All were reported to have enjoyed the occasion. Misses Quatie Riddle and Rodena Worley called on Miss Pauline Whee ler Sunday. Miss Loveta Webb, who is attending school at Stilwell spent the weekend wtih home-folks.

Several young folks of this community attended church at the Mission at Spade Mountain Sunday nite. Miss Pauline Shipman entertained some of her friends with a farewell party Friday night. They were entertained with music and parlor games. Those attending reported an enjoyable time. Mr.

Hearl and Ilarvy liramion of Piney spent the week-end visiting relatives and friends of this community. Billic Hornsby who is attending the A. and M. college at Slilwater, spent the week-end visiting relatives. Mr.

and Mrs. George Riddle called at the Nolan horn Saturday evening. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Lon Wheeler fand family called on Mr.

and Mrs. Neil Bryson Monday night. Everyone in this place is very busy moving to their new homes. Mr. and Mrs.

Bob Workman of Salem, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs Charley Vickrey. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Vickrey and daughters, Norma and Lucille, called at the home of George Ramseys Monday night.

The girls had en enjoyable time, making ginger snaps Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maton of Geneva spent Xmns with their daughter, at Copic, in Sequoyah county Mrs. Dovie Means and Miss Dessie Ramsey were Ft. Smith shoppers last Tuesday.

Nadine Means has been very ill this week, but is improving. Fred Terry of Heavener, called at the Presley home Wednesday night. Miss Bessie WHson spent Xmas with her parents. Miss Dessie Ramsey was the Saturday night guest of Miss Verna Moton. Miss Norma Vickrey called on Miss Dessie Ramsey Sunday evening.

Mr. Doode and Sam Hannah tooli supper with Harvey Ramsey Friday night. A group of young folks from this place attended the Xmas program at Chalk Bluff Wednesday night. They were: Mr. Afton and Marguerite Wilson, Jeff Hannah, Mr.

Ellis, John Vickrey, Harvey Ramsey, Dessie Ramsey, Mr. Terry, Mrs. Dovie Means Runch cemetery. He died Dec. 31st Mr.

Lauren Presley and Mr. Embrey at 1:00 A. M. of typhoid. He leaves Farmer.

O'Neal and family have moved to Stilwell. George Miller and family of Lyons, have moved here to reside. Kenny Johnson of Stilwell was in this town Thursday. Funeral services were conducted Rev. C.

H. Cole of Stilwell Thursday for Albert Lee, 24 year old son of Mrs. Rowland. Mr. and Mrs. Doode Hannah were the Sunday evning guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Ramsey.

Miss Nellie Means and baby spent I Saturday night with Miss Beatrice' Eli ah. Mrs. Tom Hannah and Miss Ruth Addington called on Mrs. John Hannah Sunday afternoon. Dan Hannah of Fayetteville, visited with relatives here last week.

Mrs. Dovie Means has been visiting with her sister at Heavener, Okla. Mrs. Lou Talbott of Stilwell spent Saturday night with her mother, Mr3. Pcthly.

Dud Orr is visiting here this week. Ted Smith's wound on his leg is improving nicely. Earl Burgess and family have moved back east of Titantic. Miss Maggie Creech of Ft. Smith is her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Creech. Carles Bruner spent the past week at home. Miss Imo Broun, Jim Davis and Beatrice Scacewater and Lense No- Mpn went the Mission Sunday night. Mr.

and Mrs. Lench are visitng Mrs. Lcnch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Davis.
