Parole Violator Returned To Jail For 11 Months Amzie Pugh, 59, Eastburg AMZIE R. Pugh, 59, of 4 Rose East Stroudsburg, died yesterday at 12:30 p.m. in tite General Hospital of Monroe County. He had been in failing health the past two years and seriously ill the past month. He was born in Stroudsburg, a son of the late Mr.

and Mrs. Harry Pugh and was a lifetime resident 10k the area. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Emma Everitt Pugh, Stroudsburg, he is survived by two brothers, Oscar and Dane, both of Stroudsburg. Services will be held Sunday at in the Lanterman Funeral Home with the Rev.

L. W. Drury officiating. Interment will be in the Prospect Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Saturday after 7 p.m.

Bushkill Resident, 43 MILTON Agathangelou, 43, of Bushkill, died yesterday at 1 the General Hospital of Monroe County. He had been in ill health the past four years. He was born in Cyprus, a son of Mrs. Galacia Agathangelou, York City, and the late jus Agathangelou. Mr.

Agathangelou was resident of Bushkill the past 18 years. His prior residence was in New York City. He had been employed as a butcher at Camp Tamiment and Unity House until time of illness, and he had served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a member of the Greek Orthodix Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by widow, Mrs.

Erma Larsh Agathangelou, at home; one daughter, Delilah, at home; three sons, Michael, Gerald and Anthoall at home; two sisters, Mrs. ny, Anastacia Meliotis, Fort Lee, N.J., and Mrs. Charles Pistis, Bergenfield, N. two brothers, Andrew, Paris, France, and Samuel, Cyprus. Daniel G.

CLARENCE W. Nolan, 38, ington East Stroudsburg, was committed to Northampton County Prison yesterday by Judge Fred W. Davis who found him guilty of parole violation. Nolan will serve the remaining 11 months of a nine to 23-month sentence imposed in 1961 after he pleaded guilty to burglary charges. He was arrested last Saturday by East Stroudsburg police on disorderly conduct charges.

Bloodmobile Collects 108 Pints The Red Cross Bloodmobile collected. 108 pints during a visit yesterday at Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church. The total, unusually large for the St Stroudsburgs, came om 114 donors, of whom six were deferred for various reasons. Red Cross volunteers said they were pleased with the response, particularly the number of women who volunteered blood. Smith was sentenced Sept. 10 with the sentence to be computed from his release in Northampton County. The board was told that building rents will not be increased as a result of the renegotiation. Nonaggression Pact Revived MOSCOW (AP)-The idea of a nonaggression pact between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the Warsaw Pact nations was revived Wednesday night by the government newspaper er Izvestia. It printed a political commentary by the Soviet news agency Novistii which said: pact of nonaggression would not break the existing correlation of forces between the blocs.

Toys For Tots Collection Sites Named PV Sets Up Standard Lunch Fee BRODHEADSVILLE Pleasant Valley Joint School Committee voted last night to make a standard charge for lunches purchased in the hot lunch program and to charge an additional sum for second portions. In other action, the committee voted to rent the vocational agriculture building at Polk Township to Everson Electric Allentown.

The rent is $60 month and the lease is for per one year. At the end of the first year the lease and rent are open for negotiation by both parties. Harry Young, supervising principal of Elementary schools in the jointure, reported the need of an additional physical education teacher in Polk and Chestnuthill Township schools. The teacher will not be hired until next year and he will serve both schools. To Refinance Bonds The joint committee was notified that the joint school authority will meet Monday, Nov.

19 at 9 p.m. to discuss and consider refinancing the bonds on the new high school. The authority has been informed that there is a very good possibility in saving an amount of money in excess of $100,000 by refinancing the bonds. No Serious Guam Injuries WASHINGTON (AP) The American Red Cross said on Wednesday it has received assurances from Guam that no U.S. military or civilian personnel were injured seriously or killed in the typhoon that devastated the island.

Robert C. Edson, national director of disaster services for the Red Cross, said a preliminary damage survey by Red Cross staff members showed that 5,000 homes were destroyed and 3,000 badly damaged by the Sunday storm. Injured In Accident Near Zion FOUR PEOPLE were Injured near Mt. Zion last night at 7 p.m. Legislative Route in a head collision in front of the home of Mrs. Jennie Kresge, State Police, Stroudsburg barracks said last night. The injured are Robert L.

DeHaven, 30, of East Stroudsburg, RD his wife, Lillian L. DeHaven, 27; Francis Mohn, 18, of Easton, and Elma Malazzo, 19, of Bangor. All were taken to the General Hospital of Monroe County for treatment and then released. Robert DeHaven was treated for a lacerations of the nose and lip, Mrs. DeHaven received a laceration to her forehead, Francis Mahn treated for a laceration to his left knee, and Elma Malazzo was treated for laceration to her face and left leg.

Police said Mohn was traveling west on L.R. 45078 with Miss Malazzo as his passenger and DeHaven and his wife were traveling east. Both vehicles were approaching the crest of a hill and both were across the center of the highway. They crashed head-on at the crest. Damage is estimated at $200 to the Mohn vehicle and $850 to the DeHaven car.

The investigation will be continued today. 3 Area Residents Charged In Burglaries In Wayne HONESDALE-Three area dents have been arrested by State Police and charged with a series of burglaries and larcenies going back to last September. They were identified as George A. Williams, 49, and William L. Davis, 36, both of Honesdale, 2, and Daniel A.

Kenyon, 19, Honesdale, RD 3. They were committed to Wayne County jail in default of bail after pleading guilty of illegal possession of deer before N. C. Farnham, Honesdale justice of the peace. Trooper William Bluff of the Honesdale State Police station, said Williams will be charged with five counts burglary and one of larceny; Kenyon, one count each of burglary and larceny and Davis with parole violation.

Bluff said Kenyon, picked up Monday night, was found to have a bag full of deer meat in his possession. Under questioning, the trooper said, he admitted participating in a series of burglaries and thefts and named Williams and Davis as his accomplices. A check of Williams' property, Bluff said, uncovered a quantity of car transmissions, car and truck tires, carpenter tools, power lawn mowers, beaver traps, automobile turn signals and a heating stove. taking the articles from a number of establishments in several Wayne County townships, but that none of the trio could remember where or when the burglaries and thefts occurred.
