New York, Oct. 15th. Flour is dull and heavy, sales to-day of 14,000 bbls at for straight state; 48,62 for good Ohio, and $9,37 for Southern. Wheat heavy and- dull, sales Of 45,000 bushels; Southern white at 2,12, and red at 2,05: Corn declined, sales of bu-ihels at 94 cemts for Western mixed. Pork is heavy, sales of 300 bbls at 23 a 24 for Mes3.

Beef firm sales of 150 bbls at 10,50 a 17 for re-packed ehicago. Whiskey firm, satos of COO bbls at 40 cents for Ohio. Coffee is firm, sales of 600 bags Kio at 11 cents. Sugar is firm, sales of 400 hhds New Orleans at 7 cents. Molasses buoyant and prices tending upward, sales of 100 bbls New Orleans at 38 tents.

Turpentine is buoyant. Rosiu firm at Iron is firm. and prices steady. Rice Nothing worth reportiug. Freights are steady.

StvA Obleans. Oct. Cootton easier but prices are not lower; sales to-day of 3, 500 bales. Receipts at all ports 127,000 bales ahead of last year. 15.

Cotton dull, sales of 300 bales at 9 a 9jje. for middling. Sug.ir sales at 6 cts. Flour is selling at New Corn 70. "cents, old 80 cts.

B.vltiuork, Oct. 15. Flour the transactions were small in this article this morning Ohio is firm at Howard street, no transaction in City Mills reported. Grain wheat sale of 8,900 bushels good to prime white at $2,05 a choice $2,15 an advance of 5 cents; reds, 1,95 a $2. Corn offerings of 2,500 bushels sales at an advance of 2 a 3 cts; sales of white and yellow at 92 a 94 cts.

Provisions there was nothing done this morning, and we quote Saturday's price: mess pork, 21; mess beef, baconeides, 13 a 13, cents shoulders, 12 a 12J cents; hams, 13 a 11 A cents. Hxpoiis for the week, ending Oct. 10th, 1855. coastwise. 429.....

Valuable Lauds on the Cape Fear River. THE LANDS and Plantations known as the Roane and Blue Banks Plantations, are offered for sale. These lands lie only 15 miles above Wilmington, on tlie Cape Fear River, and extend out to the Wilmington Manchester Railroad, and are of easy access to one of the best markets in the State of North Carolina. On the north side of the river there are six hundred acre of the finest River Bottom Land iu the State about fifty acres of which arc already cleared, and produce the finest sort of crops. One hundred acres more maybe cleared, which is sufficiently elevated above the ordinary height of freshets to save the crops.

The lands abound in Ash, and the finest kind "of Cypivs Timber. On the side of the River, is situated the balance of the lands, estimated at seven thousand five hundred acres, from which three fine settlements may be made. The upper portion, or Blue Banks contains two thousand acres or more of which there arc some one hundred and fatty acres now cultivation, and is well adapted to corn, peas, potatoes and cotton. There is a large quantity of fine land yet to clear, the growth on which is pine, oak and hickory and dog-wood. South of this tract is the Roane Plantation, and adjoining the low lands mentioned above, containing some, two thousand four hundred acres, a small quantity of which is cleared, and a considerable more yet to clear On this tract all the buildings and improvements are situated, consisting of a good Dwelling-house, Kitchen, Smoke-house, Corn-crib, Stables, and some fourteen nc gro houses, all of which are new and comfortable.

Thcr is a Turpentine Still and Fixtures which will be sold whli the land, if desired. There arc also some efcht tasks of Turpentine Boxes, some three tasks of which arc old on the land. The remainder of the lands lie adjoining this tract. and on Hood's Creek, containing some three thousand acres of unimproved Pine Lands, which would make a fine settlement, a portion of them being good farming lands, and on which several fine building lots could be had immediately on the Railroad, suitable for Summer Residences. Persons wishing to purchase such lands.
