The specialties presented between the acts by Myrkle and Harder, Eddie Horan, Paulette, and Willard and Reeves were decided hits. Board of Health Asks Citizens to Aid It in Fighting Small-Pox. There are eight cases of small-pox in our city with a grave possibility of such increase as may soon produce a condition of epidemic. It is the manifest duty of all good citizens to co-operate with the health authorities so as to prevent such epidemic, if possible.

The board of health urgently adyises that every man, woman and child in the city, not vaccinated within two years, seek vaccination without a day's delay. Such universal vaccination would substantially wipe out every reasonable possibility of the dreaded epidemic. The seriousness of the situation can scarcely be overestimated. The most active and careful work of the health authorities will be powerless without the hearty and most prompt co-operation of the citizens themselves. This co-operation is immediate and universal vaccination and re-vaccination, as above suggested, is earnestly desired.

It is also suggested that all houses and premises be thoroughly cleansed and that quick lime be freely used. J. M. Sheedy, President. C.
