7 DWU Service ClubsCircle Club Will Corn Palace Classic The Dakota Wesleyan sity Circle Club is, sponsoring the 1910 Corn Palace City Classic Basketball Tournament. The tournament will be held Dec. 30-31 at the Corn Palace. This year, something new has bene added: three games will be played each night. On Dec.

30, Hanson High School will battle Centerville High School in the preliminary game beginning at 5:30 p.m. At David Brewer Final Rites Set Funeral services for David: Brewer, 22, Loomis, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church Dr. Dwayne F. Knight officiating.

Ice Rinks to Open Soon Park Board crews are preparing ice rinks in Mitchell for the skating season to begin early next week. The crews have been delayed by a water main break at Munroe Park, but repairs are expected to be pleted by Friday afternoon and workers can resume ice making chores again.

Actual opening date for the rinks will depend in large part upon weather conditions. Temperatures between 0 to 20 degrees with cloudy skies are best for ice-making. Skating rinks are planned for Munroe Park on West 12th, Jennewein Park on Mitchell Boulevard, and Eastside Park on East 3rd. Music, concessions, and a warming house will be available at Munroe Park. The nation's largest volunteer air search and cue organization, CAP nually flies nearly 70 per cent of all flying hours pended on search and cue missions in the U. S. the first six months of 1970, CAP was credited with sav. ing the lives of nearly 20 persons through such efforts alone. Another of CAP's prime missions is cooperating with Civil Defense in national emergency training.

The organization is prepared to carry out a variety of urgent ciyil defense missions in case of attack upon this country. From its national headquarters at Maxwell AFB.
