The Home C'ome years is a long time to be away from a place, and then return and still find relatives and friends there.

But such was the experience of L. F. Campbell of Los -Angeles, when he and his good wife came to this community last week for a visit. Campbell is a son of Mr. and and Mrs.

Albert Greenwood, J. L. Campbell, who were in the hotel business in Greenwood yeiars ago. The Campbell family consisted of the parents and ten children. Of these ten, only one remains in the community; Mrs.

Robert (Onea) Howard, Mrs. Howard is the youngest in the family, and she was the last of all to have a visit from the Californians. When they decided to spend a month visiting Mr. brother and sister in Texas a.nd Oklahoma. Mr.

F'riday, October 23, garment bags are also made of feed later explained Mrs.

Atkins club members inspevted her neat, orderly arranged clothes closet she had recently made, the tal cost i)eing only $1:10. The closet walls were attractively papered. There was a rod for hanging clothes, also shelves covered with white oil cloth for flat or folded gar. ments. The bottom or floor shelf, was made for a shoe rack.

Mrs. T. N. Maxwell, had on exhibit, at this meeting, a lovely lunch, eon cloth, a pair of pillow cases, and an attractive scarf, all of which were made of feed sacks with some trimming of printed meal sacks. Each club member gave an oral report of their achievements for the year and also filled out blanks to be sent to the home demonstration agent.

During the business session motions were made and carried as follows: that the club drop the Christmas card suggestion and work on the program outlined for next year; that the club have only one meeting in November, and that be November that beginning the first of the year, the club meetings be held on Wednesday instead of Friday; that the club elect officers. The following officers were elected to serve another year: Mrs. Orville Walker, president; Mrs. Guinn Fortenberry, vice-president; Mrs. C.

Montgomery, secretary treasurer; Mrs. G. C. Sloan, reporter; Mrs, E. Fotenberry, poultry demonstrator; Mrs.

Leo Atkins, home improvement demonstrator. At the noon hour the hostess, Mrs. Atkins, served baked chicken with the other dishes brought in by the nine club members present, it made a very delicious well balanced meal, which was greatly enjoyed by all. The next meeting will be held in the home of Mrs. C.

C. Montgomery, Friday, November 6. The vice-president urges each club member to look over the outline of subjects the club is to use for a program this coming year and bring any material you have collected to this next meeting. Ik Boyd Boys In Service By W. E.
