JOSEPH GAZETTE, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28, 1923 15 Elimination Tourney Will Be Held Here on Nov. 10 to Choose Buchanan County Championship Quintet BASKETBALL MEET HERE OPENS NOV. 10 Elimination Rounds Will Decide Teams to Enter Northwest Tourney The elimination rounds to decide which high schools shall represent Buchanan county in the Northwest Missouri association and boys' outdoor basketball championships.to to be held at the Maryville, State Teachers' college next month, will fenke place in St. Joseph Nov.

10. Only winning teams in each class in each county of the association's territory will be permitted to enter the competition At. Maryville. About the same time the eliminations are being made here, they will also be made in the St other counties. The championship matches at the teachers college will be held for the boys, Nov.

16 and 17, and for the girls, Nov. 23 and 24.0 First Games at 11:30 Oclock At 11:30 oclock ine morning of Nov. the girls teams from Agency, Easton. Faucett and Rushville. who will be the only ones to fight it for the honor of representing this county, will participate in the first round at the Y.

W. C. A. gymnasium. In the afternoon the boys teams from the towns will play on the Hillyard court.

The finals of both classes will be staged at the Hillyard gymnasium that night. No admission will be charged to the preliminary games but 25 cents will be assessed for the finals. Miss Ruth Bixby, physical edu tion instructor at the Y. W. C.
