THURSDAY, APRIL 21,1932 THE ADAIR COUNTY DEMOCRAT, STILWELL PAGE 3 Edited by Maxine Whitaker While Wash Downing, of near Eldon, was in Stilwell eariy Saturday making arrangements for the funeral of his wife, Mrs. Polly Downing who died Friday night, his home caught fire from undetermined sources ahd was entirely destroyed with all its contents. Neighbors bare'- ly succeeded in getting, Mrs. Downing's body to a place of safety before the building collapsed. Word has reached this office of the death of two former residents of Titanic, well known in Stilwell.

They are Rev. James Orr, retired Baptist minister who died of heart failure at and his brother John who died from pneumonia few weeks ago at the same place.
