Trout left yesterday for Dallas to attend the mass-meeting to be held there relative to the University. After a two visit to relatives in Dallas, Mrs. Wilmer Threadglll will go to Boulder, Colorado, to spend the summer. Mrs. Frank Nye received word from Mrs.

Lockwood that Mrs. A. P. Nye had undergone a successful operation at Kirksvllle, and that she will be able to walk before leaving the hospital. This will be gratifying news to a large number of her friends.

Mrs. James Jefferson expects to leave tonight for Minneapolis, to spend the summer with relatives. Miss Ellen Ramsay will return home this afternoon from Agnes Scott College, Georgia, where she has just graduated. Mrs. Sam Withoff and family and sister, Miss Guiterrez, left yesterday for Bustamante.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Shoemaker left at noon today for a visit to the family Musical Recital. The members of the Club will have a rare treat tomorrow morning from 10 to 12 w'hen Prof.

Miguel Lerdo de Tejada, the noted Mexican composer and director, and Sr. Mario Talavera, the brilliant Mexican tenor, will give a recital in the club house. All the musical numbers on the program will be compositions of Prof. Lerdo do Tejada, who will accompany Sr. Talavera, as well as play several piano solos.

The recital Is in compliment to members of the club. PATRIOTIC COMMENCEMENT. Princeton. N. Juno Nassau echoed with patriotic songs and orations today at the 170th commencement of Princeton University.

The customary exercises of graduation were converted into a notable demonstration of patriotism. The leading feature of the program was the conferring of honorary degrees upon all the ambassadors and ministers representing the Allied powers at Washington. There were also exhibition drills and exercises by the Princeton Battalion and the aviation corps of the university. The diplomats who received the honorary degree of LL. D.

were Sir Sir Cecil A. Spring Rice, the British ambassador; M. Jean J. Jusserand, the French ambassador: Count Vincenzo Macci di Cellere, the Italian ambassador; Amaro Sato, the lapaneae ambassador; M. De Cartier le Marchicnnes, minister from Belgium, and Viscount de Alte, minister from Portugal.

Other recipients of honorary degrees were Secretary of State Lansing and Herbert C. Hoover,.
