But NBC has a spectacular special tonight with its America and a documentary special Friday night on Negro rioting in American cities this summer. ABC otters an unusual four- hour special Sunday evening in an in-depth study of Africa and its people. The program is broken into lour hour-length segments which will be televised individually on successive Tuesday mornings beginning Sept. 19 for the primary benefit of classroom viewing.

The first hour is titled Adventure and deals with animals, history, and dawn of civlllzatitMi. The second hour is concerned with tribalism, health hazards, education, and current trends in politics. The third segment looks at sports, arts, the mark of slavery, and new nations, while the final portion is deviled to overseas provinces, the controversy of colonialism, apaHheid. a summing and Smokey Says: -Another case of Human Carelessness!
