Bea was born in Stettler, Alberta on May 26, 1945. She resided and obtained HALL Bill Bill Hall was born in London. Ontario January 15, 1934 He fought and lost a long battle on Friday, February 19, 2010. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Wendy (Terry), Jo Anne (Dale), Vicky (Tom), Brenda, Sherry; his grandchildren Shane (Cindy), Richard (Trina), Tammy (Chris), Kelly Mandy, Tommy, Nicole, Sean (Cassie) and many great grandchildren and great great grandchild Bill is survived by his brother Don (Ada) He was predeceased by his wife Beatrice (1995), his sons-in-law Dean (1995) and Merle (2006) Dad you have gone to be with your true love You fought hard and God knew you were tired You are now perfect and at peace with your wife. Keith was born on July 6, 1953 to Leslie and Lillian. He grew up in a home which respected hard work and Gods truth. He attended school in Red Deer, developing close friendships lasting to the present day. Keith met his best friend, Kathy, in Grade 1 1 and they were married on August 7, 1976 After high school, Keith went to the of A with the goal of teaching history. In 1974, before completing his degree, he joined his father and brother David in the family business, Adviser Publications.

Eventually Keith took a leading role allowing his dad to pursue other interests. He continually developed new ideas to keep the business relevant. He worked tirelessly to honour his business obligations, believing Christ is Lord in the workplace Keith enjoyed traveling with Kathy, maintaining close ties with family and friends, reading anything non-fiction, the solitude of his motorcycle, martial arts training as a student of Kali, and in everything, challenging the status quo. Keith followed Jesus, living every moment by Biblical principles. His faith was unmistakable.

He gave his time as a deacon, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, prayer group member, Bible study leader, and board member of Loaves and Fishes. Keith had a servants heart and was a compassionate friend and family member His relationships will be his legacy. Left better for knowing and being loved by him are his wife, Kathy, daughters Eryn (Bern), Meghan (Chris), mother Lillian, siblings Brian (Lee-Anne), David, Susan (Cam), grandson Sawyer A celebration of his life will be held Saturday February 27 at Balmoral Bible Chapel at 1 pm. HOFMANN Melvin Clifford Melvin Clifford Hofmann passed away on February 17, 2010 in Red Deer at the age of 92.

Melvin grew up and worked in Humboldt, SK until 1941 when he enlisted in the Canadian Army. Later that year his life was interrupted by World War II: he was sent to Europe. After the war he continued in the military until his retirement to White Rock, BC. He moved to Red Deer in the early 1980s and resided there until his passing. Mel always appreciated and enjoyed the company of his extended family of friends" in Red Deer.

Giving thanks for his long life are his surviving family-daughter Sharon McCulloch of Tennessee; sons Barclay of Nanaimo, BC; Tim (Lori) of Richmond, BC; Don (Elfie) of BC; daughter Mary (Scott) Campbell of Victoria, BC; granddaughter Monique Lynnes of Boston, MA; grandsons Joseph and Ben Campbell of Victoria, BC; wife Isabel of Vancouver, BC and sister Lois McPhail of Vancouver, BC Melvin was predeceased by his brother Cecil and sister Viola Ewach. Mel's life was a blessing to his many Red Deer friends FRANDSEN Charlotte "Marie It is with heart filled sadness we announce the passing of Marie Frandsen on February 21, 2010. Marie was born May 27, 1939 to Sanford and "Lottie Leader of Lacombe AB. She grew up on the family farm near Clive, and like her 3 sisters before her, chose to follow a career in nursing. She attended a 4 year combined Psych Nursing RN program through Alberta Hospital Ponoka University of Alberta and graduated in 1961.

During training, she met fellow student Eric Frandsen, and in 1962 they married. They both continued to nurse at Alberta Hospital Ponoka until their move to the Frandsen family farm in the early 1970's, when she temporarily retired from nursing to help on the farm devote her attentions to family, gardening, her many animals. Marie was able to return to her beloved nursing profession intermittently at both AHP Ponoka General Hospital. She worked almost 20 years as evening charge nurse at the General Hospital until her retirement in 1997 due to illness. After retirement, she kept busy with grandchildren, gardening pets, later developed an interest in genealogy, for which she received two degrees from Athabasca College.

Marie is survived by her children Dallas (Ross) Foulston, Darin Frandsen and Brent (Christine) Frandsen; grandchildren Caelin, Eric, Ashlyn, Karianne and Kyle; sisters Anna Laing of Cochrane, Ellen Neumiester of Vancouver, BC and Etta (Dean) Chessor of Lacombe; sister-in-law Sylvia (Willard) Demoline of Falun; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Eric. Marie will be dearly missed for her sharp wit, her strong shoulder her ice cream socials. A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26th with the Interment Service following at the Forest Home Cemetery.

In addition to raising her two children, Gladys enjoyed bowling, and volunteered as a Brownie Leader, and later as a board member with the Girl Guides, Gladys and Ralph regularly attended the Elks Club for many years and Gladys enjoyed knitting and crocheting sweaters, afghans, and hundreds of baby outfits that she donated to a program for premature babies. Gladys kept a nice home and a beautiful garden, and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren In later years she faced a long illness with faith and courage, while living at the Red Deer Nursing Home, where she enjoyed daily visits and various activities. Tell Everyone. with a Classified yWowHcement TOMALTY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Leonard Keith Tomalty on Monday, February 22nd, 2010. He deeply missed his wife, Norma, who predeceased him in June, 2002 and will be so lovingly remembered by his children: Julie (Bill) Barber of Red Deer, Nadine (Gary) Kuiken of Red Deer, Linda (Glen) Ray of Innisfail, Rob (Wendy) Tomalty of Lethbridge and Sue (Mark) Henwood of Red Deer. Also surviving their devoted Grandpa are 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. We knew our father's home and fathers heart.

His family was all important to him and he responded to their every need; physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. He will be profoundly missed. Len was born into this world March 21s1 1915 at Brownsburg, Quebec, the fourth child of John and Edith Tomalty. He was born from above into Gods family, November 11, 1956. When Len was four, the family moved to Hoosier, SK and it was there he resided until 1935 when he moved to Red Deer to play hockey.

In Red Deer he met Norma Blue and they were married on January 4th, 1940. Len was employed at the Alpha Dairy Pool from 1935 1940, Whitehills Jersey Dairy from 1940 1943. In 1943 Len joined the Navy and during the war years of 1943 1945 he worked as a stoker on the mine sweeper, H.M.C.S. Comox in Halifax Harbour, NS. Not long after his discharge, he spent the better part of two years in the Baker Sanitarium in Calgary with tuberculosis of the spine.

Len was in real estate and insurance for a time with Robertson-Wiseman Agencies in Red Deer and from 1965 until retirement in 1980 was employed with the Alberta Government at Michener Centre, Department of Public Works as office manager and bookkeeper. As well as his parents, Len was predeceased by his brothers, Elmer, Harold, Ross and Ralph and his two sisters, Margaret Hicks and Ruth Tomalty. He was also predeceased by a nephew, Greg Tomalty, two sisters-in-law, Les Tomalty and Ursel Tomalty. He is survived by three sisters-in-law, Carrol Tomalty, Verna Tomalty and Shirley Tomalty, plus one aunt, Mrs. Norman (Ina) Muir of Edmonton.

He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff of Westpark Nursing Home, Trochu Nursing Home and Bethany CollegeSide for their help in caring for Dad. His work on earth is done. In the Father's heart and now in the Fathers house.
