Pankey-Rice Reunion Held Karel Park The Pankey and Rice families and friends met at Karel Park Sunday, Aug. 26, with a basket dinner at the noon hour. There were sixty six present and the oldest one present was Rice, and the youngest was Tamara Lee Byron.

The consisted of instrumental music by the Rice's hillbilly band, two solo numbers by Clyde Rice ol Herrin a duet by W. H. and Fern Panxey, and a liumorous reading by W. H. Pankey.

Ofticers were elected as follows: Theodore Rice, preeiaent; Marie Evans, vice-prcsiaent; Minnie Riegel, secretary and treasurer. W. H. Pankey closed the reunion with prayer. Tiiose attending were Greg Dowdy.

C. DeNerl of Bloomfield, brought the morning message and group singing was led by Gerald DeNeal. The noon meal was served in the church basement with Walter Snarp of Vienna asking the blessing. The afternoon was spent in visitation and group singing. Officers were appointed for the coming year.
