Taken from the regular udy, book, "The Household of God," program topic was "Christmas in the New Testament." Speakers terspersed their talks with record-1 Ings and singings of Chrlstm a hymns and brief histories of the hymns. The lighting of candles for the Advent Season was explained. Circle One Members of Circle One were luncheon guests of Mrs. Phlli Christen In her home. Among the 19 present were guests Mrs.

Gordon Rollins, Mrs. Thomas Jones, Mrs. Alva Blacksten and Mrs. Harry Durst. The hostess was assisted by Mrs.

A. A. Nepstad and presiding was Mrs. James Stevens. Mrs.

J. J. Knox presented the Christmas program. Circle Tu'o Mrs. Jack Early, hostess in her home for the meeting Cir 1 Two, was assisted by Mrs.

William Hughes in serving refreshments to the 17 members present. i Mrs. Corrington, and Mrs. J. E.

Blades poured at the siver services at the tea table. Mrs. Fred Scallln presented the lesson, with readings by Mrs. E. J.

Van Westen and devotions by' Mrs. Blades. Arrangements were made to serve the dinner for the Methodist 1 Men Dec. 20. Circle Three Mrs.

G. V. Swanson was hostess in her home for the meeting of Circle Three. She was assisted in serving refreshments by Mrs. Leslie Ginn.

Mrs. Maude Test led in devotions. A gift was presented the chairman, Mrs. Herbert Dortland and members exchanged rist- mas gifts. Circle Four Miss Ruth Harkness, president, gave the lesson and devotions at the meeting of Circle Pour in the home of Mrs.

Joe Anderson. She was assisted by Mrs. John Furland, Mrs. Walter Koch, Mrs. T.

M. Kangus and Mrs. Bruce Allen. Gifts were brought for shut-ins by the 16 members present. Guests were Mrs.

Harry Miller and Mrs. Ray Adams. The hostess was assisted in serving refreshments by Mrs. Orval Mahlman and Mrs. Lester Goll.

Circle Five Mrs. Arthur A. Austin was hostess in her home for the meeting of Circle Five with Mrs. George Crum presiding. The 13 members present brought food and cash donations for packages for the needy.

Mrs. Crum and Mrs. Wendell White were named co-chairmen of the project. Mrs. Ernest Forbes gave lesson and the hostess was assisted by Mrs.

Daisy Hershey in serving refreshments. Circle Six Mrs. W. H. Fredine presented the lesson at the meeting of Circle Six in the home of Mrs.

Charles Klingaman with six members present. Mrs. Elma Buising presided. Circle Seven Plans to visit a nursing home were made at the meeting of Circle. Seven in the home of Mrs.

William Kugel with 13 members present. Mrs. Hale Raber and Mrs. Percey Fox will be in charge of Visiting the patients in the Van Schaick home. Mrs.

Andrew Sorenson presented the program and Mrs. Ea rl Lewis reported on the recent program planning workshop. The hostess was assisted in serving refreshments by Mrs. Lewis. Circle Eight Mrs.

Clarence Buehler presided, led in devotions and the lesson at the meeting of Circle Eight in the home of Mrs. Floyd Graham with 12 members present. Mrs. Nannie Keller assisted the hostess in serving refreshment. Circle Nine Mrs.

W. Beukelman and Miss Katherine McKillop were guests at the meeting of Circle Nine in the home of Mrs. C. S. Bobb with 15 members present.

Mrs. Joe Stuart led in devotions and the program was presented by Mrs. Bonner Wilcox. A box of food was filled for a needy family. Mrs.

Dale Andersen and s. Ed Buckles assisted the hostess in serving refrehments. Circle Ten Mrs. A. H.

Berry, presiding officer, was hostess in her home for the meeting of Circle 10 with 11 members present. Mrs. Jack Berry, a guest, assisted the hostess in serving refreshments. Mrs. George Brooks led 03 devotions and the lesson.

Circle Eleven Mrs. J. J. Knox, a guest, presented the lesson, "Christmas Carols Around the at the evening meeting of Circle 11 in the home of Mrs. Harold Willoughby.

She was introduced by Mrs. Willoughby, program chairman. Mrs. Richard Martin and Mrs. Charles Johnson were also guests with seven members present.

The hostess was assisted by Mrs. Louie Podhradsky in serving refreshments. Circle Twelve Mrs. Earl Hiltcfti and Mrs. Vern Merriman assisted Mrs.

Orvi 11 1 Brown in serving refreshments at the evening meeting of Circle 12 in her home with 19 memb present. Mrs. Oscar' led in devotions, Mrs. Richard Roper gave the lesson and Mrs. William Houk presided.
