The engaged couple will be married in November. Foodflowers: Lovely bouquets of all shades of roses and orchids and bells of Ireland decorated the tables. Menu items included a sparkler-topped baked Alaska, heart-shaped potatoes and tenderloin of beef. Appetizers included caviar, smoked salmon and scotch quail eggs.

The blessing: The Rev. Patrick Bright gave a prayer for the couple for dinner and included a thank you for the quail eggs. Members of the group and former inductees Nancy Coats-Ashley, Kay Goebel, Lou Kerr, Mary Melon, Marion Paden, Patty Roloff and Meg Salyer were co-hostesses. Food: On the menu were tea party items including egg salad, cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon, pecan and pumpkin pie tarts, macaroons, and lemon and brownie bars.

Nonprofit group events Help Kids Play benefit luncheon BELOW: Linda Haneborg, Lou Kerr, Patty Roloff, Marion Paden and Meg Salyer. -mi- Cleats for Kids hosted its Help Kids Play luncheon Sept 19 at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City. Tom McDan-iel of the MAPS 3 Citizens Advisory Board and the American Fidelity Foundation delivered keynote remarks. The hour-long program also honored honorary chairs Dick and Barbara Bogert and Volunteers of the Year Jon and Burke Beck of Red Coyote Running and Fitness. Located on the newly renovated Devon Picnic Grounds, ZOObrew offered plenty of beer, live music and food trucks. More than 1,900 guests attended. Proceeds from the event support the Oklahoma City Zoo's animal enrichment programs.
