Newlyweds Honeymoon In New Orleans A honeymoon trip to New Orleans and other points of Interest In the south was taken by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stuart Spring following their wedding on Feb. 9 tn Evansvllta, Ind. The bride Is the former Miss Merrilyn Threlkeld, the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. C. W. Threlkeld of Evansvllle. and her hus- bsnd Is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. George Spring of 2916 Condlt Highland. Officiating at the double ring ceremony at Christ the King Catholic Church was the Rev. Maurice Egloff The altar was decorated with ferns, palms, baskets of yellow gladioli and blue baby Iris. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of Imported Chan- tllly lace and nylon tulle over satin.

The lace bodice was designed with long tapering sleeves artd a mandarin collar and was fastened In tha back with tiny ruffles of plain and embroidered The lace panels down the front of the skirt had medallon Inserts. HER TWO-TIERED veil of Imported English Illusion was attached to a Queen's crown of pearls and she carried a bouquet of white glftmelllas and white hyacinths The maid of honor Miss Dorothy Lary, wore a frosted powder blue velveteen princess style ballerina length dress fashioned with an Italian neck- lino which dipped to a In tha back. Miss Ann Cudgel, bridesmaid, wore an Identical dress, The attendants both had circular starched Illusion veils attached to velveteen half hats. They carried cascades of yellow pompon chrysanthemums Peggy Ann Guard, five, was the flower girl. She carried a bmket of yellow rose petals Marvin A Hanien of Highland was the best man.
