"I have .been considering a new location for my store for some time," he said today, "and decided to come to Blytheville after investigating a number of other cities and towns because I think that this is a progressive city, more so than any other place I considered. "Blytheville sems to offer good opportunities both for business and as a city in which to live," Woods commented. The new Blytheville business man is married and has one daughter, 20-months-old Nelia Royce Woods. Tlie family will follow Woods here next month when a home is se- j lected. Store Is Modem The store will handle a complete line of staple dru«- commodities and other merchandise common to a drug store of 1941. as well as dispensing all kinds of fountain drinks, serving sandwiches, etc. A special department list includes an up-to-date, complete prescription' department which the owner said would be complete enough to fill - - -any- -'"doc tor's prescriptions ;~-a' : g 1 f c and 1 greeting- card department, with "gifts for all occasions." cosmetics, school supplies and a staple line of veterinary products. The prescription department is of open display. Building space is 20 by 75 feet. * Glasses Sterilized A special feature of the new concern will be an electric glass- washer and an ultra-violet ray machine which will sterilize all glasses used after the brash is used to wash and scrub the glasses. The sterilizing method is an aid to sanitation through placing of glasses in the machine for two minutes each, during which Ume the machine is locked automatically and j cannot be opened until glasses have • been sterilized and are ready for ( ' removal.
