The bylaws will be presented at our next meeting in total for a vote. Reverend Holmes, of the Plymouth Congregational Church gave a brief and interesting talk on his 84 yrs as a Canarsien. His Church was founded in 1888 and he has agreed to supplyus with as much information as possible on its history. Let it be noted that this Society intends to gather information of this sort from every group involved in Canarsie. -history as a part of our duties-and goals.

Mildred Gorenstein, Director of Breukelen Recreational Center, read excerpts from an upcoming booklet on Canarsie. They proved to he exactly what is needed to help build a sense of community awareness to the traditions of this area.
