Citizens The Chairman of the Concerned Citizens of Canarsie, Hal Moltz, has announced the' establishment of a Food for the Needy program.

Its purpose is. to provide basic essential healthful foods to needy Canarsie residents on a periodic basis. The CCC has obtained from religious and community organizations the names of such persons. Several food packages have already been distributed. In order to maintain and expand this program.

The CCC is asking all community organizations and the more fortunate individuals of Canarsie to donate canned goods, non-perishable items andor cash which will be used for the purchase of food.
