The selections by the chorus, which vere entirely in (iennan. were sung with the harmonious effect and finlsn which characterizes any performance by the society. The ladies' chorus of thirty-five voices sang two especially charming- numbers. "Helm-llche Gewalt," (Secret Force). Wopl-sovice. and "Der KucRuck," (The Cuckoo), Rudolph Wagner. Senor Velasco, slender, boyish and with an artistic, personality, gave a performance characterized by the color, brilliancy and tenderness of his race.
