TV Hawaii Tribune Herald, Sunday, September 6, 1987 31 Evening with Ohana ahead KHBC reports its fall lineup Danny Kaleikini in his show in 1971. KHB Channel 2, has announced its fall lineup on local TV programming. Beginning tomorrow, Labor Day, the Hilo television station will unveil its new programming with the news at 6 a.m. News anchor Eve Fuller will begin the new broadcast day with local and state news, followed by news from the national and international scenes. Five-minute news updates will be presented each half hour, beginning at 7:30 a.m. up to 9 a.m.

Weekdays at 7 a.m. Bill Evans will host the two-hour Good Morning Hawaii show. Weekly featues within the show will include a theater and video review by Paul Clark; two segments hosted by Kaniu Stocksdale, called Beauty Fashion in Hawaii and Here's Entertainment. Amy Iwamoto will host the cooking Hawaii segment. Other features will include interviews with islands newsmakers, visitors to the island and travel and road conditions.

"The GMH show format is not by any means a new one," Evans says, "but the uniqueness of this program will provide good entertainment about the island and its residents, a show whose time has come. The new fall format includes news, called "Live at Five" and a wrap-up of the day's news at 5 and 10 p.m. KHBC will be airing 11 other locally produced programs: three to air on Satudays, a two-hour morning show for keikis called the "Klubhouse" with clubmaster Jay Jay Kapele, a 30-minute "This Week in Sports," hosted by Jerry Carmack, and a teen dance show called "Sound-stage," hosted by Marc Champoux.
