Area Working Hard To Combat Teen Drug Abuse On April 8th, the Canarsie Youth Center enjoyed a visit from the PANIC organization "Parents Against Narcotics In Canarsie" A speaker, Ron Samaria, brought by Sid Weider, expressed his neighborhood's feelings regarding the prevalence of drug use in his community of Bergen Beach and Mill Basin.

It was very refreshing to hear his dialogue and to know that other communities are working hard to combat drug abuse and to rid the Brooklyn area of pushers.
