Too much ardent loving between couples on the "Caterpillar Ride" in Coney Island shocked Mayor Hylan so much yesterday that he directed the to act immediately to change the condition. The ride has small cars.

To each of them is fastened an awning, which drops to the floor automatically, every little while, hiding the occupants from view, and then rises almost immediately.
