Blouch of Elk honored their son, Michael, and his wife, on Saturday evening, July 20, with an open house-! wedding reception for friends and neigbhors to introduce their new daughter-in-law. The young couple was married on March I of this year in the chapel of Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo.

Texas, where Sergeant Blouch has been stationed since enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1965. A four-tiered wedding cake was the center of attraction, and the newlyweds received many gifts. Mrs. Blouch will be residing at 7422 Terrace Drive with her two-year-old son, and Sergeant Blouch is scheduled for a year's duty at Cam Ranh Bay, South Vietnam, leaving the United States on August 9. Dow, architect from Midland, spoke to members of the Friendly Garden Club during a tour of the Dow home, office, and gardens at their July meeting on Tuesday.

Mr. Dow described his architectural philosophy and used the word relatednes's as being the important function of design. Arrangements for the tour were made by Mrs. Robert G. Bell, a club manager.

Mrs. Rex Garn was a guest. A buffet luncheon was served at the Midland Golf and Country Club. The next meeting will be Au- 1 gust 13 in the home of Mrs. Norman Kline.
