Francis Foley, rector of Episcopal'church, performed the double ring ceremony Thursday afternoon at 4 0 0 o'clock, -united in marriage Miss Jlary Jano Detzer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Detzer of Leland, and Dr. John Moench, son of Mrs.

Daniel C. Brown of Boston, Mass. The nuptial vows were repeated in the presence of a. Bmall group of friends. The bride was escorted to the altar on the arm of her father.

Hsr dress of white clotted swiss was designed with a tight bodice, full skirt with a long train and long sleeves. Her long net veil was fastened to a headpiece of match- Ing material. The bridal bouauet was white roses. Miss Lillian Stuart) ot N. was the maid of honor.

Her dress of blue silk pitiue had a full skirt and tight bodice with short sleeves and she carried a bouquet of white and yellow roses. Watson explained that applications for service far outnumbered the anticipated demands, that facilities are not yet available to care for in the Lodges such demands. Mr; Watson answer ed many questions which were ask ed by those present. Mrs. Kirk Bixby- asked members to prepare canned and fresh fruit and vegetables for the display at the fair. She said that goods should be canned in plain glass jars with two piece metal covers.

Frozen food will also be displayed. The group adopted the rules which had prepared by Mrs. Heim and her committee. The meeting closed with the group singing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." Refreshments were served from a decorated table presided over by Mrs. W.
