Winnie Hartzel returned to school this week after being absent for a time due to illness. Mrs. Mary Crandall and Ikie returned from- Muskegon Saturday. Bw daughter, Bertha, returned with her to spend a few days. Mr.

and Mrs. Jack Sprague and family have moved in to the Crampton home a half mile from Buckley. and Mrs. Gilbert Nisewander of Beulah called on Mrs. C.

C. Campbell and Gladys Nisewander Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Newmarch, who left Buckley Dec.

31 for Florida, write they have arrived safely. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Williams are also spending the winter in Florida. The Finley Duffs have moved to the Gilbert Valleau farm.

Mr. Duff jett Tuesday Mt. Clemens where he has employment for a few weeks. The Nichols family spent Wednesday night at their cottage on the peninsula at Duck lake. They spent last week-end at Otsego with his sister and family at the home farm.

Mr. Nichols, has been qiiiie til and is in the hospital at Kalamazoo. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Lance attended the funeral of his nephew, Robert Sayers of Boyne City, who passed away at the hospital in after several weeks' Illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Max Smith are the parents of a son born Monday. Mr. and Mrs.

Dewey Lance returned from Muskegon Sunday after spending a few days there with h.er mother, Mrs. Rebona, who is very ill. Mrs. Fred Fitz of Fife Lake accompanied them. Mrs.

Warren Jackson returned Saturday evening from Heed City where her mother is confined in the hospital with a broken hip. Max Gnger has returned from Mt. Clemens and is now employed in Traverse City and staying at his home in Buckley. The Leon Coopers have moved into their new home on their farm near Buckley. Mr.

and Mrs. Edgar have returned to Cleveland and are staying on ship during the winter. They visited friends and relatives here for a few days. Mrs. David Lang Is with her daughter.

Mrs. Luther Ransom of Flint, who has just become the mother of a son. Osccar Ransom visited his son Edwin Ransom and family in Lan- aing for a few He accompanied his daughter Irene Revoir at Karrietta. Mrs. Ken Parker is reported to about the same.

Mrs. Rhoda Kellogg is assisting her during Mr. Parker's absence in school. Allen Duff left Monday to enlist in the army. Mr.

and Mrs. Clifford Elliott took Peggy Ann to Grand Rapids Sunday. From there she went by train to Chicago, where she is college. Miss Dorothy Armantrout speit Saturday and Sunday with her parents, returning to her duties at Mercy hospital in Cadillac Mon- Mrs. Bert Cook was at her daughter's home-in New Hudson for the week-end with her grandchildren while her daughter was in Chicago.

Mrs. Wenzell will enter Mercy hospital, Saglnaw, Monday for surgery. Mr. and Mrs. James Kyselka and daughters visited Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Kyselka of Traverse City Sunday. Bill Bohner has received word that his son and wife, Mr. and Ray Bohner, are in Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs.

Nettie Van Sickle and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frank Van Sickle, have returned home. 'They have been visiting Jlr. and Mrs. Dicjc Van Sickle and Mr.

L. MOORE Mrs. Earl Duncan entered Munson hospital Sunday night for an appendectomy. The Interlochen correspondent has a correction to make in regards to a news item in last week's column. Sonny Bossingham has not been called into service.

Mr. and Mrs. James Riley are vacationing at Sunset Trailer Village, Bradenton, Florida. Mr. and Mrs.

Vlack, Mr. and Mrs. Weinberg and Mr. and Mrs. Stover were among the Interlochen group who attended the travel lecture on "Holiday in France" given in the Traverse City high school auditorium Monday night.

The Red Cross first aid class gave a pleasant surprise to the instructor, Mrs. Leon Dumbrille in the form of a gift presentation and lunch Tuesday night following the regular meeting. Girl Scout troop No. 13 and the Brownies met Tuesday night after school under the leadership of Jean Ranch and Phyllis Saxton. They have an excellent program planned which will aid in the possibility of attending a summer camp.

The Interlochen Woman's club is sponsoring a "snow ball" dance Saturday night, January 20th. All profits will go towards the March of Dimes. The dance committee has planned an enjoyable evening with music by Fred Gleason's orchestra. Sunday School classes for adults, young people and little folks will be held at the town hall at 9 4 5 a. m.

Names were drawn for another year of secret sister fun. Mr. and Mrs. EWl Gray arrived from Flint Tuesday to visit their brother and' sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.

Guy Gray. They returned Thursday. Mark Barnes preached the Sunday morning service for Rev. Kenyon, and will speak again at next Sunday's services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 16th, the choir is having a community fellowship supper in the church basement at p.m.

It will be a potluck and every one in the community is in- lited. M. Bevins of Alden was a Sunday dinner guest of the Roblees. Mrs. Lester Van Saten celebrated her birthday January 6th.

Mr. and Mrs. Coin and family were Saturday evening visitors. Oakley is improving from her operation. A community party will be held at the town hall Saturday evening with a potluck lunch.

Mrs. Etta Sattler is living with her daughter, Mrs. David Van Saten, for the winter months. Mr. and Mrs.

meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Mildred Guy Thursday. A nice time was reported by all who attended. Mr. and Mrs.

Lewis Yoder and family were recent guests of Mrs. Ernest Little of Kalkaska. A lovely time was had at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Scott Saturday evening when Mr.

and Mrs. Allan Morrison dropped in. Cards were played throughout the evening and refreshments were served. The occasion was celebration of Mr. Scott's birthday.

The school building is loctaed on Elm Street, Suttons Bay, Michigan, and includes six classrooms, library, offices, store room, toilet and locker rooms, heater room, and gymnasium, and all heating, plumbing, and electric wiring. Bids will be taken on the Genera! Contract, the Plumbing and Heating Contract, and the Electrical Contract. Plans and specifications with proposal forms, and other contract documents may be obtained from the office of the Architect.

St. Clair Pardee, 204 East State Street, St. Johns, Michigan. Plans are available after January 8, 1951. A deposit of $10.00 for plans is required.

This deposit will be refunded upon return of the plans in good condition.
