decoration of Pershing school Total material cost would be $20610 and 618 1 2 hours of skilled labor at $61850 would set the total cost to complete the work at $82460 On the Wilson school proposed sub project leveling of the side walks an amount of $6990 would be expended including material costs and 96 hours of unskilled la bor and 12 hours of skilled labor Decoration of the Lincoln schoolbuilding would require $424 for materia and 320 hours of skilled labor it was estimated terrac ing sub project near the same building would necessitate an allot ment of $162 including 240 hours of unskilled labor 24 hours of skilled labor and materials Work On High School Redecoration of the senior high school building as outlined would cost $156665 with materials and 1175 hours of skilled labor requir ed for completion of the work Re ft pairs on walls of the same build listed as another sub project would cost $42415 Three hundred and seventyeight hours of unskill ed labor be used as well as 200 hours of skilled workmen The final sub project listed is that of building up the playground at the Roosevelt school This im provement would call for the ex penditure of $1008 most of this cost being for labor The play ground will be filled in with ap proximately o60 cubic yards of dirt Total cost for labor on all sub projects has been estimated at $3 66560 and materials at $80425 making the grand total of $446985 for all the improvement work Recent changes in the operation of the CWA and in policies for re leasing expenditures for construc tive projects has slowed up the actual work of the setup School of ficials were not able to state today when the proposed sub projects would be placed before CWA offi cials for final approval Improve ment work would start immediate ly after official
