14 THE PATERSON MORNING CALL, MONDAY, JULY 14, 1958. OBITUARIES Didyk Michael Didyk, 35, died suddenly from a heart attack yesterday afternoon in his home at 1 Reihl East Paterson. East Paterson police administered oxygen after he collapsed in his home. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Paterson General Hospital, Bergen County Medical Examiner ordered the body removed to the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, 274 Market East ersen.

Born in Clifton, he had resided in East Paterson 11 years, spending the major portion of his life in Clifton. He was truck driver for Balir and Aldous Plumbing Passaic the 12 years, A veteran of World War IL, he served in the navy. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church of Passaic. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.

m. from the funeral home at 139 Ackerman Clifton. A half hour later a Requiem Mass will be offered in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church, Passaic. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Friends may call today and tomorrow 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.

m. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen Kozak Didyk; daughter, Darlene Michele, and two sons, Michael Theodore and Roland, all at home; his father, Frank of Clifton; a sister, Mrs. Stanley (Mary) Dudek Clifton; two brothers, Frank of Clifton and John of Paterson. Mrs.

Zack Jackson Mrs. Ida Jackson. 81, widow of Zack Jackson, died yesterday morning in her home at 177 Burgess Passaic, after a long illness. Born in Vardree, she had resided in Passate" four years. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, Garfield.

Her husband died in 1932. Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral services will be held Friendship Baptist Church, Garfield. The Rev. James H.

Penn, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Garfield, will officiate. Interment will be in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Friends may call at the Bragg Funeral Heme, 143 Myrtle Passaic after 7 p.m. today. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.

Inez Berry of Greenville, S. Mrs. Laura Carrboro, N. Mrs. Daisy Archer of Ashville, N.

C. and Mrs. Bertha Rucker of Wallington; Carl and Ramsey of Newark; four grandchildren; four great grand and P. Kerr James P. Kerr, 51, a mason by occupation and husband of Edith Potts Kerr of 54 Valley Glen Rock, died yesterday in Paterson General Hospital after a short illness.

Born in New York City, he resided in Glen Rock 17 years. He was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church, Glen Rock, The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home at 13-31 Saddie River Fair Lawn.

A Requiem Mass will be offered a.m. St. Catharine R.C. Church, Glen Rock. Interment will be in Maryrest Cemetery, Friends may call today and tomorrow 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Barbara E. and Patricia both at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary King of New York City and a sister, Mrs. Mary Mieschner of Jacksonville, Fla. William Johnson William Johnson, husband Edna Jackson Johnson of 450 Harrison Passaic, died Saturday morning in Passaic General Hospital after a brief ness.

Bon in Columbia, S. had resided in Passaic seven years. Mr. Johnson was a member of the First A. M.

E. Zion Church of Paterson and the Kitchen Cabinet Men's Committee and the Dreamers Club of church. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the First A. M.

E. Zion Church, Paterson. The Rev. C. M.

Kirkpatrick, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, the Hanover. several aunts, uncles and cousins. Ronald G. Kostus A 25-year-old man, committed suicide Saturday night in a shelter at Third Ward Park by slashing his forearms and neck with a single edge razor, according to police. The man, Ronald G. Kostus, of 466 Howe Passaic was pronounced dead at 6:50 p.m.

by Dr. Alexander Shefrin, of 253 Lexington Ave. Kostus' body was discovered by Peter Kaps, of 896 Main Passaic, who had been playing near the shelter with his children. Kaps, who called police, said he investigated when he noticed. blood on the concrete floor of the shelter.

Police said Kostus left no note and Do reason could be found for the suicide. (UPI) Britain's Princess Margaret tended church Sunday in the only public appearance scheduled for her first full day of a monthlong Canadian visit, The remainder of the day was spent relaxing in privacy. More than 1,000 persons waited at Christ Church Cathedral when the Princess arrived, preceded by a police escort of 10 motorcycles. One of the motorcycles toppled over 12 feet from the royal car. Near Death, Cultist Bars Transfusions FLEMINGTON, N.J., July 13 (UPI) Refusing blood transfusions on religious principles, 19-year-old farm hand is struggling for his life tonight against the effects of a leg amputation. Surgeons at Hunterdon Medical Center yesterday amputated the left leg of Phillip Peace, who was critically injured June 25 when both his legs were caught in a hay baling machine, Peace has been close to death much of the time, but has stubbornly refused the transfusions. He is a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, a sect that outlaws the taking of blood for any reason. The amputation below the knee was necessary because of tissue deterioration, a hospital bulletin said.

Peace lost a normal amount of blood during the operation authoriand needs transfusions, ties said. But they said his wishes, and those of his parents, in Cincinnati, 0., were being respected. The youth is being given constant nursing attention. Peace was injured on farm near Califon, operated by the Jehovah's Witnesses. His legs were pinned inside the hay for 45 minutes.

Driver Attempts Dive Through Station Window An Eastside man, arrested on a careless driving charge, attempted to dive through first floor window at police headquarters Saturday morning, police said.
