Christopher Dl 1 DEAtTof Ag rWTT nesday ht while shifting at WH on the No. 1 track in the classification Union barber shops in Altoona will not decrease any of the prices in vogue. This was decided at a largely attended joint meet of master and journeymen barbers held last night in the Union rooms. The agreement to maintain the present prices was unanimous. A great majority of the shoes in the ty are members of the union and thei it is but few that have cut prices.

The union men contend that as long as the prices of the necessities of life remain as high it is impossible to make a decrease in the cost of work done by them. The meeting was the largest held by the men and thera was considerable discussion before it was decided that the present prices should be continued for a time. It-was argued that there has been no decrease in the price of tools and of the various things they use and in, some instances the cast has increased recently.
