Allen Carson of Bryan." The wedding took place Friday, May 16, in Willis. Rev. Charles E. Schneider, Methodist pastor read the marriage vows. "Miss Earline Singleton was the bride's only attendant.

The bridal couple are both students in Sam Houston State College, -Huntsville, where both are majoring in voice." "Mr. Carson is a veteran of two years. service in the U. S. Mr.

and Mrs. Carson will continue their studies and will reside in Huntsville until graduation. They will arrive in Bryan Sunday evening and will visit his parents through Monday. Miss Eleanor Baker Honoree at Shower, And Theater Party Miss Eleanor Baker was honored recently by Mrs. Russell Brown with a "cup towel" shower at the Brown home made lovely with bowls of fragrant gardenias.

Baker-Cotton Bridal Party is Announced; Wedding on Sunday Miss 'Eleanor Baker and her fiance, Donald Frederick Cotton, announce their attendants for their marriage, which will be solemnized late in the afternoon of Sunday at the First Methodist church. Miss Eileen Baker, sister of the bride, will be maid of honor, and bridesmaids will be Misses Eugenia Anne. Miller, Anna Dell Koontz and Alberta Cotton of Pittsburgh, sister of the groom. Where They Go And What They Do Mr. and Mrs. Gene McKee, Mrs. Lorraine Thompson and Miss Carrol Bayshore from St. Louis, arrived in Bryan Wednesday to attend the marriage of Miss Betty Thompson to Gene Bauer tonight.

Mrs. Thompson is the mother of the bride, Mrs. McKee is a sister and Miss Bayshore is a cousin. Mr. and Mrs.

McKee will serve as attendants in the wedding tonight. Leaving this afternoon to attend the State Convention of Business and Professional Women's Clubs convening in San Antonio on June 6, 7 and 8 were Mesdames Dale Gilmore, Ruth Mudgett, R. H. Bush, Florence Lowe and Miss Kate Adele Hill. Mrs.

-and Mrs. Whitmore and daughter expect to go to California. Miss Betty Downard is expected to return tomorrow from a visit with Miss Jackie Recktor of Spur, who was her hoommate at T. S. C.

W. in Denton. While away Miss Downard visited with her uncle and wife, Mr and Mrs. J. Clare Downard at Abilene.

Robert C. Fletcher and four of Birmingham, will children arrive Sunday for a visit in the home of her mother, Mrs. John M. Caldwell, and other relatives. the baby weighed 7 4 ounces, her height and her eyes of blue with black hair.
