Religious Services Christmas Events (Valley Star Nows Sorvict) HARLINGEN Religious services will be held Christmas Eve and Christ mat- Day for congregations in several Valley churches. McAllen, at St. Lutheran Church in McAllen, a series of holiday services will be held continuing through New Year's.

John G. Elser is pastor. On Christmas Eve at 7:30 the annual service will bo held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, McA.Uo!,. Approximately 50 children will take part in tht program, singing and reciting.

With the children, there will also be participation in the program on the part of the congregation and the choir. The public is cordially in- viied CHRISTMAS DAY Two Christmas services will be held at the Lutheran church. McAllen, on Christmas Day. The first services will begin at 10 a. while the second will start at 11:01 a.

m. The congregation invites willing to observe Christmas in the correct way, to come anr worship with those present. NEW On New Eve at 8 appropriate Sylvester Eve will be held the Lulhoran Church at McAllen. Close the year in the right way. You may not live through the next one.

On New Year's Day two services will be held at the Lutheran Church. McAllen, the first beginning at 10 a. and the second at 11:0 a. m. Start the year right and go to church.

PHARR Services for Christmas-tide in Trinity Episcopal Church. Pliarr, include: Christmas Vespers, Thursday, Dec. 24. 3 p. m.

followed by a Christmas party for the children. Choral Eucharist and brief address, Christmas 11:30. A new musical setting has been arranged for this service under the direction of Wilfred Fisher, choir director and Parks Goody, organist. A second Eucharist for those who were unable to make their Christmas communion at midnight, will be held at 11 a. m.

Christmas Day. The full music will be repeated at this service. SATURDAY Day, Saturday. Dcc. 26, Holy Communion 10:15 a.

m. St. Day, Dec. 27. being also the First Sunday after Christmas, Holy Eucharist at 7:30 and Choral Eucharist at 11 a.
