Brooklyn Home Queens Auxiliary To Have Flower Day The annual Flower Day Society Show, sponsored by the Queens Auxiliary of the Brooklyn Home for Children, will be held on Tuesday at the home, 67-35 112th Forest Hills. Mrs. Carl S. Noble is chairman and Mrs. George H.

Dayton is cochairman. Mrs. Hollis K. Thayer is honorary chairman. At the reception and tea the following will speak: Mrs.

Nursing Sisters Auxiliary Feted At 'Thank You' Tea Miss Elizabeth A. Goodman, president of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Nursing Sisters of the Sick Poor, 439 Henry was hostess last Monday noon at a "Thank You" tea held in the Gallery of the Brooklyn Museum. Miss Goodman presented cor. sages of orchids to the chairman and two co-chairmen of the recent card party, Mrs. William V.

Herbert, Mrs. G. Eugene Zimmerman and Mrs. George H. Sutcliffe, respectively.

Mrs. Zimmerman was appointed chairman of the newly formed ways and means committee. A proclamation regarding the Silver Jubilee of Sister M. Perpetua was read. A gift also was presented to Sister M.

Perpetua. Mrs. Edward V. Killeen, first president of the Auxiliary, told the story of the early days of the Auxiliary. The youngest member of the Auxiliary, twoyear-old daughter of Mrs.

Walter P. Gibbons, was enrolled and was given a baby corsage for the new member. Mrs. Gibbons has accepted the general chair. manship of the October 2d card party.

Mrs. Clarence G. Bachrach, president of Community Service of the Museum, welcomed the Auxiliary as a member. Charles Nagel, director of the museum, also welcomed the group and invited them to participate in the museum's activities. Adolph S.

Cavallo, curator of American decorative art, conducted the group on a tour of the, various early American period rooms. The Rev. Raymond S. Leonard is the moderator. BUY U.

S. SAVINGS STAMPS AND BONDS Needlework Guild Branch Members Select Fall Dates The annual ingathering of the Brooklyn Branch of the Needlework Guild will take place on Oct. 27 at Hillis Hall of Plymouth Church, Hicks and the meeting will take place 28. The dates annual, were set at the Spring meetling of section presidents of the branch held recently at the home of president, Mrs. Rodney C.

Ward, 187 Hicks St. Mrs. Harry Geib reported a net profit of $576 from the card party held during the Winter. With this money 1,600 yards of flannel and percale was purchased and $133 was spent on wool. Twenty-five members cut the flannel 1,426 active, layout articles.

Mrs. Geib also announced that next year's card party will be held on Jan. 20 at the Lafayette Ave. Presbyterian Church. After reports given by each of the section presidents, it was announced that Mrs.

Wallace White will take charge Guild Group of the Methodist Hospital; Miss Nettie Moore will replace Mrs. Kate D. Payne, and Mrs. Philip paugh will carry on the work of Mrs. W.

L. Durand's section. Tribute was paid to Mrs. Fredric G. Norton, retiring vice president of the guild.

Mrs. H. W. Chapman Jr. was elected to take her place as vice president and chairman of the ingathering.

Angel Guardian Home Guild Plans For Oct. 16 Event The Guardian Guild of the Angel Guardian Home has set the date for its 14th annual bridge and fashion show. The event will be held on Oct. 16, in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Pierre. The chairman, Miss Shelia Melia, has announced that the fashion show will be presented by Kings Dress Shoppe, 6413 11th Ave.

The models will be workers at the Angel Guardian Home. Assisting Miss Melia will be Miss Diana Ruffalo, Mrs. Richard Hart and Miss Betty Borden, co-chairmen. Suzanne Rubin Second Child Born Mr. and Mrs. Melvin S. Marks of 711 Brightwater Court announce the birth of their second child, Robin Arlene Marks, on April 18 at Brooklyn Women's Hospital. The couple have a son, Lloyd Allan Marks, 4 years old.

Mrs. Marks is the former Florence Shorofsky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moe Shorofsky of Flat. bush.
