YORK BOYS HONOR STUDENTS AT U. OF P.j GRADUATED JUNE 16 Four York students were amour those awarded degrees at the commencement exercises of the University of Pennsylvania, which were held at Welghtman Hall, the university gymnasium, yesterday. John D. Britton, 123 Ridge avenue, and Alex G. Cloudsley, 727 South Beaver street, were award'd the degree of bachelor of science in economics by the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the university.

Bernard Corn-roe was granted the degree of bachelor of arts, and Richard W. Bolton was granted the degree of doctor of dental surgery. This years graduation exercises. In which the four Yorkers participated, mark the 170th annual commencement of the University of Pennsylvania. At the ceremonies, which lasted throughout the day, over 1,700 degrees and certflicates were awarded, the recipients of which represented every state In the Union and over twenty foreign nations.

Is a member of Phi Delta Epsilon fraternity and Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Scholastic society. He was elected to the editorial board of the Punch Bowl, the university student humorous magazine, and in hla senior year was managing editor of the periodical. For the past three years Comroe has been a member of the arts council, and for the past two years has been treasurer. In his sophomore year Comroe took scholastic honors, and throughout his career haa maintained a high scholastic record. Comroe is a member of the Franklin society and the Students Medical society.

All the boys are graduates of the York High scbooL Bolton has been active in dental affairs, having been assistant editor of the Penn Dental Journal, one of the leading magazines of its kind in the country; assistant editor of the Dental Record: secretary of the Den tal Student council, president of the Kirk Dental society and a member of the M. H. Cryer Honorary Scholastic society, the Junior Skull Honor society and Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. Franklin Menges, of York, spoke on the floor of the House of representatives today against the corn sugar bUL Under the terms of the II, confectionery, frozen products, prolucts of the bakery, meat, or meat products would not be deemed misbranded if the labels failed to state the presence of corn sugar.
