The Record-Eagle, Traverse City, Mich. April 25, 1177 7 Evelyn Taghon Evelyn Taghon, 68, of Muskegon, died at Muskegon Mercy Hospital April 21. Born Evelyn Sheriff July 12,1909, she was married to Arthur Tahgon in 1929 and had lived in Empire for more than 20 years before moving to Muskegon 35 years ago. While in Empire she was a member of the St. Philips Catholic Church Altar Society.

She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Muskegon. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Charles, of Muskegon; a daughter, Joyce Kozal of Muskegon; two sisters, Althea Esch of Oregon and Elaine Calabrese of Washington; and 10 grandchildren. The funeral was held Saturday at St. Thomas Church in Muskegon and burial was at St.

Philip's Cemetery, Empire. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Association. Frank Bothwell Frank R. Bothwell, 84, of 222 Fairlane Drive, Traverse City, died Sunday at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility after an extended The son of Frank and Mary (Dodd) Bothwell, he was born on Aug. 30, 1892, at Detroit.

He lived at Detroit and Springport during his early years. He then was a public accountant at Jackson and Grass Lake. Later, he worked for the State of Michigan. In 1957, he retired and moved to Traverse City. In 1953, at East Lansing, he was married to Clara Arnold Buller who survives.

He is survived, in addition to his widow, by a son, John W. of Battle Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Donna Rae) Spanburg of DeWitt; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Arnold (Donna) Nelson of Stanton; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna E.

in 1950; a son, four brothers, and a sister. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hibbard Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Alvin Brewer officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, Wednesday afternoon. Friends may call at the funeral chapel. Ella Dalrymple Mrs. Ella C. Dalrymple, 79, of Leslie, died Saturday at Lansing General Hospital.

A former Kalkaska resident, Mrs. Dalrymple was born May 13, 1897 at Stanwood, daughter of Elmer and Katherine (Swartwood) Hillard and married at Adrian in 1933 to Walter Dalrymple. who preceded her in death in 1965. She had lived in Kalkaska from 1954 to 1971, when she moved to Leslie. Surviving are two sons, Glenn of Flint and Walter of Holt; three daughters, Mrs.

Catherine Nowlin of Onondaga, Mrs. Gordon (Marguerite) North of Hanover, and Mrs. Kenneth (Luella) Phillips of Kalkaska; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great, great grandchild. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska with Eddie a i i a i a arrangements were made by Schwartz- Funeral Home, Kalkaska.

the day before publication. 946-2000 Classified Dept. JP a Stuart Grayvold Stuart Grayvold, 74, of Suttons Bay died Saturday at Leelanau Memorial Hospital, Northport, after an extended illness. The son of Sven and Syneve (Oye) Grayvold, he was born Feb. 13,1903, at Suttons Bay.

He lived most of his life in the Suttons Bay area as a farmer and orchardist; On May 2, 1959, he married Lena Rader who survives. Mr. Grayvold was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Suttons Bay. In addition to his widow, he is survived by three brothers, Roy and Eddie, both of Suttons Bay, and Martin of Grand Rapids; two nephews, a'niece, 8 great-nephews, and 5 great-nieces. His parents and a brother Olaf preceded him in death.

The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ray and Robert Martinson Funeral Home, Suttons Bay, with the Rev. Harold Vetter officiating. Burial, will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Suttons Bay. Memorials may be directed to the Suttons Bay-Bingham Rescue Squad for electronic Vital I and II monitors; envelopes are available at the funeral home where friends may call.

Barry Johnson Barry R. Johnson, 34, of 402 Traverse Street, Elk Rapids, died Saturday at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Piland); two daughters, Danielle and Megan, both at home; a brother, Dr. Lanny Johnson of Okemos; and his parents, Willard and Janet (Luce) Johnson. Preceding him in death was a sister, Roma.

Born May 18, 1942 at Highland Park, Mr. Johnson grew up.in Royal Oak. He was a swimmer, and swam for Royal Oak Kimball High School and Michigan Stale University, which he attended. He was married July 30, 1966 at St. Louis, and moved to Elk Rapids five years ago after living in Bay City and East Lansing.

Mr. Johnson was employed as a sales representative for Hoechst-Roussel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. A member of the Elk Rapids Volunteer Fire Department, Mr. Johnson was a sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. The funeral was held today at 1 p.m.

at the Assembly of God Church in Charlevoix. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elk Rapids. Funeral arrangements were made by Dockery- Wilhelm-Smith Funeral Home, Elk Rapids. Memorials may be directed to the church. Mary Evanoff, 86, formerly Traverse City, died this morning at Martha Berry Medical Care Facility at Clemens.

Martinson-Covell Funeral Home of Traverse City is handling funeral arrangements. Fundraiser Ford Former President Gerald Ford has agreed to help Michigan Republicans raise campaign funds by speaking at the annual GOP legislative dinner May 24. Mrs. Ford will accompany the former president at the $350 per couple reception and dinner. The event will take place at Long's Convention Center in Lansing.

"The appearance of the former president Insures a successful turnout for the dinner," state Sen. Richard Allen, R-Alma, said. Funds raised will go into a campaign chest for state House and Senate candidates next year. Airport panel set to review audit report TRAVERSE CITY The audit of 1976 Cherry Capital Airport financial records will be presented to the Northwestern Regional Airport Commission Wednesday night, April 27.
