There are still numerous witches' coven, witches', associations and diabolists in England. One prominent diabolist, Alastair Crowley, became quite infamous for his sinister rites and practices before dying several years ago. As recently as 1944, an action was raised against Mrs. Helen Duncan, a medium, on the strength of the English legislation of 1736. Manifestations of the occult are not confined to England.

Witches' covens and similar cults have reportedly taken root in America as well. And cases of diabolic possession, relegated to medieval myth by most moderns, have been reported many times in this century, often by reliable persons.
