Ilibasich Cash Market Ramsay Michigan BERGLAND SCHOOL IS ACCREDITED FOR 2 YEARS -Bergland-- The Bergland school was visited on November 18 by Edgar G. Johnston, assistant director of bureau of cooperation with educational institutions. The text of Mr. Johnston's report on December 3, to Henry J. Raskins, superintendent, was as follows: "It is refreshing to visit a small school where one could be impressed with accomplishments rather than handicaps.

I saw much to commend and little to criticize in my visit to your school. You are to be congratulated on the general quality of plan and equipment, the richness and variety of program in a school with so small an enrollment, and with the general quality of instruction observed on both the elementary school and high school level. It seems to me that you have been fortunate to bring together a staff of unusually capable teachers." Mr. Johnston suggested building up the library resources, and a survey of the.school library will be made after the holidays by the teachers to ascertain material most needed. A letter of accrediting was received from George E.
