The Gazette, Sunday, August 31, 2008 5M WEDDINGS Lightner-Keedy MONTICELLO Riverside Gardens in Monticello, la was the setting for the June 14th wedding of Jennifer Jane (Spier) Lightner and Mark Edward Keedy, both of Monticello. Family and friends gathered in the beautiful flower gardens at 7:00 pm for the double ring ceremony. The Rev. Ed Moreno of the United Church of Monticello offici- ated. A dinner reception was held at the Blue Chip restaurant following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Lloyd and Katie Spier of Cedar Rapids, IA The groom is the son of Helen Keedy and the late Robert I. Keedy of Unionville, MO and, formerly of Washington, IA. Jennifer is the Catalog Production Coordinator for Cycles, Anamosa, IA. Mark is the Marketing Data Manager of Uline Shipping Supply Specialists of Waukegan, IL. Getting Johnson and Jason Paul Sponsler, both of Alexandria, VA, were married May 24, 2008, in Amana, IA.

Pastor Mike Townsley performed the 4:30 p.m. ceremony at the Old Creamery Theater. A reception followed at the Amana Colonies Golf Club in Amana. The bride is the daughter of Jan and Anne Johnson of Walford, IA. She is the granddaughter of Beverly Johnson and the late Marvin Johnson of Spencer, IA, and Kay Filloon and the late Bill Filloon of Spencer, IA.

The groom is the son of Donna and Al Goulder and Jeff Sponsler, all of Colonial Heights, VA. He is the grandson of Otto Sponsler and the late Ruby Sponsler, and Donnie and Louise Frenier, all of Colonial Heights, VA. His greatgrandmother is Helen Hardy, of Colonial Heights, VA. A rehearsal dinner was held at The Brown Bottle in North Liberty on May 23, 2008, and was hosted by the parents of the groom, Donna and Al Goulder and Jeff Hitched? Johnson-Sponsler AMANA Libby Marie Sponsler. Maid of honor was Jenni- fer Johnson, the bride's sister.

The bride's personal attendants were Kara Simmons and Marissa Richards, friends of the bride. Charles Glenn, friend of the groom, was best man. The ushers were Jonathan Sponsler, brother of the groom, and Jamie Johnson, brother of the bride. The ring bearers were Jacob Sponsler, son of the groom, and Cole Breitbach, nephew of the bride. Flower girls were Ellie.

Roley and Sylvie Boeker, cousins of the bride. Libby graduated from the University of Iowa in 2002, and is an account executive for Price Modern in Washington, D.C. Jason is currently attending Strayer University in Alexandria, and works for WCIL Technology in Washington, D.C. as a senior systems engineer. The couple honeymooned at Sandals Dunn's River Villagio in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
