1939. in Lady Smith, the son of Robert and Neva (Decota) Arnold, he married Janice Keegan on Aug. 5, 1960, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. He served with the U.S. Army.

Ronald was a welder, working 21 years for FMC, and then later for Cedarapids now known as Terex, where he retired in 1996. He enjoyed woodworking, baking, making pies, playing cards and gambling. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at Baxter Funeral Chapel in Marion by the Rev. Bill Holley. Survivors include her son, S.C. "Pidge" (Terri) Spear of Marion; grandchildren, Ashley, Adam, Justina and Tyler Spear, all of Marion; a sister, Judith C.

Wallace of Van Horne; a brother, Alfred (Jude) Ebsen of Florida; a longtime friend, Linda Neff of Lisbon; her nephews, Marc Wallace and Chris Ebsen; and her niece. Susan Crawford. Jan was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joanna R. Ebsen. Jan was born Aug.

18, 1932, in Chicago, the daughter of Alfred and Dorothy (Flemming) Ebsen. The family moved to Marion, Iowa, in 1947. She was a 1950 graduate of Marion High School and attended Coe College. Jan worked as a manager for many years in the Rapids area. In her younger years she taught dance at Arthur Murray Studios.

She loved gardening and was a member of the Master Gardeners of Iowa. She also was a very good artist, painting a number of things for her grandchildren and the Cancer Society auctions. Jan was a longtime volunteer at the Marion Public Library and the Cedar Rapids Symphony. Jan was a very caring person, taking care of many family members and friends in their time of need. She truly loved her family and will be missed by all, especially her grandson, Adam, who could always get her to smile.

A special thanks to all the friends and the neighbors on Daleview Drive who helped with my mom during her illness and to Barb and all the people at Hospice of Mercy. Neff John Ritchie was born March 3, 1914, in Singers Glen, the son of Fredrick and Flora Kline Ritchie. He attended country schools in Benton, Tama and Iowa counties. Neff married Dorothy M. Lutz on May 9, 1934, at the Methodist parsonage in Ladora, Iowa. Besides farming, Neff drove a milk truck, drove school bus and ran a chain saw and lawn mower repair shop.

Neff and Dorothy loved to travel. They had visited 46 of our 50 states. He was a member of the Ladora United Methodist Church. Francis DeSales, where a Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. A viewing also will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Edna was born Aug. 10, 1916, near Ossian in the military township of Winneshiek County, the first child of John B. and Helen M.

(Doerr) Moellers. She married Ervin J. Bengfort on Oct. 12, 1937, at St. Francis DeSales.

Edna and Ervin farmed near Ossian, Castalia and Postville until Ervin died on Aug. 11, 1961. Edna moved to Ossian and worked at the DeSales School cafeteria, Zweibohmer's Cafe and Oneota Care Center near Decorah. She is survived by her six children, Darlene Buchheit of Maynard, Elaine (Eugene) Hornback of Versailles, Dr. John (Judy) Bengfort of Winona, Betty (Wayne) Courtney of Dubuque, Randy (Lily) Bengfort of Columbia, and Anita (Larry) Greden of Rochester, 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph (Theresa) Moellers of West Union, Art (Millie) Moellers of Fayette and Reg (Nell) Moellers of Ossian; and one sister, Helen (Leo) Franzen of West Union.

Preceding her in death, along with her husband, were brothers, John and Clair; infant sister, Wilma; and grandsons, Lydell and Ervin Buchheit. Gee, 85, of Maynard, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at the Hillcrest Home in Sumner, after a short illness. Services: 3:30 p.m. Friday, Grace United Methodist Church, Oelwein.
