B WE WORDS That's my daughter Ellen standing up there in her cap and gown. Valedictorian of her class! I'd be a strange mother if I didn't feel a 'lump in my throat,'and a tremendous surge of pride. It just doesn't seem possible that my Ellen is grown-up. Uike any mother, I have visions of a tiny baby ... a little girl in pigtails ... a child, beginning school. And now here she is, speaking about the future that she and her classmates envision ... the things •they are going to try to do... their hopes and dreams. They are brave words, v all of them... brave dreams. And like all parents, I pray that most of them will come true. But I know that in , times of failure, my Ellen will have an added strength because of her Faith, and her devotion to the Church. How glad, how thankful, I am for that!
