NEW FOR OF I The local congregation: of the Church of Christ announced this week that arrangements have been completed for purchase of the Oak Park Congresational church located at Webster and Prospect in Traverse City. The Congregational church is in the process of building a new church. Occupancy by the i Church of Christ has been tentatively set for October 1.

Because ade- quate facilities were not available in the community, the Church of Christ has been meeting in temporary rented quarters at Eighth and Barlow streets for the past year. Although hindered in space, the church has continued to conduct its program. The new building will enable the church to continue with an expended program in the com- munity. Until able to secure the building, the Church Christ, plans to continue meeting in its present location at Eighth and Barlow. Any change in plans will be announced.
