Every function of every cell, organ and limb of the body Is directed and coordinated by the brain and nerve ayatem through nerve impulses. The nerve systems main cable the aplnel card la tneeeed bgr the spinal column.

The spinal eelumn is made up of twenty four movable bones called vertebrae. These bones are shaped something llhe a mans ring and are stacked one on top of another. Suspended from the brain, the delicate spinal cord threads down through the vertical tunnel formed by the stacked spinal bones (vertebras.) Nerves lead from the spinal cord to specific areas of the body. These nerves pass through small openings between the vertebrae. As long as the vertebrae are In proper alignment, the nerves are able to function as they should: carrying messages and giving directions to the various parte of the body.

Rnt when one or more vertebrae become misaligned, th nerves are pinched at the small opening and normal nerve Impulses are Impossible until the misalignment Is corrected. Its as simple as that, bnt It takes a specialist to correct the misalignment. Tha Chlropactor is a specialist of the spine and nerves, and has the knowhow to correct spinal misalignments (called subluaatlons), and thns remove the cause of nerve Interference. Youve got to drive it to believe it! A the day they handed delegates their version of a fair share slate of national convention delegates, and urged everyone to vote for it. The "unity" slate includ many attractive names, such as Winslow, a McCarthy supporter. Hoff, Daley and other well known state democratic leaders, lt also included 10 names which were listed on the official convention program as "unpledged. Each "unpledged" delegate was an avowed Kennedy supporter. The actual breakdown of the fair share" slate was 17 Kennedy men and women, one McCarthy man, and two Humphrey supporters.

With this plan facing them, Winslow and Ryan, Humphrey's state chairman, joined their forces to seek convention approval of a Presidential preference poll that would assure a proportioned national delegate slate. Rep. Tom Salmon of Bellows Falls, a Kennedy man and chairman of the rules committee, tried hard to hold off the Humphrey McCarthy coalition. But he found himself being hooted when he argued, in effect, that the convention would be truly democratic only If lt accepted the plan being Imposed on It by a rules committee dominated by Kennedy backers. With the Humphrey and McCarthy delegatee composing two-thirds of the nearly 1.000 present, the convention adopted the Presidential preference poll.
