D. A. Ritchie of Steele. The Crawfbrds will leave Thursday for Houston, where Lieutenant Crawford is stationed with the ermy air corps. Mrs.

Berlin Boyd was elected 1943 Girl Scout commissioner tor Bismarck Tuesday morning when the annual meeting of the Girl Scout council was held in the Scout office of the World War Memorial building. Mrs. Boyd, who succeeds Miss Elizabeth Jones, has served as public relations chairman for the council for the last year. She was a Bismarck representative at the Girl Scout regional conference in Aberdeen last May; took part in the state Girl Scout defense Institute here Apr. 11, and addressed the state Business and Professional Women's meeting in Bismarck on Girl Scouting.

She has also participated in radio work for Girl Scouts. Others Elected Mrs. A. J. Lunde was elected vice commissioner of the council and Mrs.
