A soft-spoken youth with i fair command ol English, Mar tin accompanied Miss Doris Fis cher, daughter of his hosts, on the iO-day voyage from Germany, where both studied during the past year at Ihe Marienan School. Miss Fischer recently com pleted a and Martin begins his study here September, both under an exchange student plan at the Stookbridge School in co-ordina lion with the American Friends Service Committee of Philadelphia, Pa. and the Marienau School located between Hanover and Hamburg.

Interested in the liberal arts including English and German, Martin said yesterday he was eager to study in an American school and also to travel before returning home next July. Asked the usual question aboul his impressions here, he smiled before remarking, "I can't really say yet because there have been so many different things in such a short time." Cunningham. The Rev. John J. Graham of St. Augustine's Parish, Glastonbury, performed the ceremony.

The bride, a graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing at Hartford, has been employed as an industrial nurse by the Kaman Aircraft Corp. Mr. Demers who was graduated from a University, Worcester, received his master's degree in June from Springfield College. The Demers expect to reside in Williamstown after Sept.
