Business groups are represented by McKeown and Cahill represents the professional men of the village. Others appointed to the body are from citizens groups.

RtxiM Aw. Wive Church Holds Fund Drive In Evergreen First Methodist Church of Evergreen Park, W. 94th st. and S. Homan is carrying on a drive for pledge funds to raise $38,000 to meet the congregation's needs for an educational wing.

Combined with $12,000 in the building fund and a $5,000 grant from the Rock River conference, the $38,000 will enable First church to obtain a mortgage loan which will finance the building of the $122,000 educational addition. Pastor of First church, the Rev. Ridell Kelsey, also announced that the congregation plans to add needed repairs to the church and retire the present $14,000 mortgage, so that the total program will cost $140,000. Trumbull Evergreen Park, financial secretary for the new addition, stated that the population of Evergreen Park had tripled between 1940 and 1950 and has doubled once again since then. To meet the demands of the growing community, she said, First church plans to include in the new educational wing: a forum room, 18 school rooms, a youth chapel, church parlor, pastor's study and a church office. Also, a narthex will be added to the present sanctuary which will allow seating an additional 120 persons for services.
