Her luggage, electric typewriter and other personal property were destroyed. The party and dance was under the direction of the sixth grade and their teachers, Mrs. Charles, Mr.

Stromberg and Mr. Snow. The fifth grades were invited and served light refreshments after the dance. Fifth grade teachers are Miss Millward and Mr. Orr.

Parents of the students were in-' vited and those who were there reported having had a delightful time. The boys danced with their mothers and the girls with their 'fathers during the evening. The High School Prom decorations were the background for the party and these youag people really took advantage of the beau-1 tiful setting. The girls looked so pretty in their party dresses and I 'he boys so handsome and quite grown up in their best clothes. After the dance was over, one young man remarked, I have four blisters on my heels from my new shoes, but I danced 18 dances so it's worth it! This was a very successful party and a good time was had by all.
